Creating Exciting Incentive Programs A serial entrepreneur, when I was 10-years-old I saw the other kids setting up lemonaide stands in front of their houses and having several on one block, I had the idea of taking the lemonaide stand "on the road". I filled up my mom's shopping cart and headed to the football and soccer practice fields nearby and sold out within minutes. I refilled my portable stand many times during the day, while my counterparts were still trying to sell their first cups.
It's the spirit of improving and re-inventing business that keeps me motivated. In 1981 I established Forum Publishing, a national media company that quickly grew into the leader in the retail industry. Over the years our clients engaged our teams to assist with their trade shows and conferences which led to the Forum Worldwide division in the early 1990's. Forum Worldwide services our Fortune 250 clientele around the world, producing and coordinating between 20-30 events around the world annually.
I am actively involved in both companies as well as our international consulting business that helps companies untap their full potential. And, as any entrepreneur knows, the wheels are always spinning. Last year after a trip to Russia I was inspired to develop a new and unique touring business in Saint Petersburg that we just launched.
I am looking very forward to meeting my peers at MICE Day and anxious to get my next great idea!
